New post starts on top of the Page?!

Hey Community!

My Problem is, that everytime I click on the "new" Button on my Board, I dont get to the newest Post. Just to the Page. Haw can this be solved?

Ah and when I make a new Post, i also get to the top of the Page. Not to my Post.

Can anybody help me with that? I cant get it to work again... (and yeah, i changed a lot and dont do backaups -.-... i know im dump as hell ...)

I doubt that this is a problem with SMF, to be honest.

It's probably a browser thing.

Can you try a different browser, to check?

I tested 3 Browsers on 4 PC's... have to be a Problem with my Style. (couse it works on the default theme. But not with my own...)

So if it works on the default theme but not on your normal theme, there's something about your theme that's broken.

What theme is it, got a link to it?

I'm sure that it has to be wit my Theme .. but i dont know what ...

And i can remmeber that it start to DONT work after i get rid of the "thread names over the posts" ... so on top of every post is a bar, that shows the thread your in .. and i removed it ... i tihnk this could be the problem?!?!

And how can i solve this without showing the bar?!

It's almost certainly the problem because it sounds like you removed the code that makes it work...

but isnt there an outher way to solve this?!?! couse i dont want to show that damn bars and still want it to be functinal.

It looks like this could work couse on this page it also works well ...

Well, there is by re-adding the snippet of code that controls displaying the <a name="new" id="new"> but without seeing how badly you've mashed up the template I can't help

OK, that's really weird, because the code that controls it is still present.

I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work (though quick modify will almost certainly be broken with your changes)

but thats the file fresh from my server. nothings changed ... but it dont work ...
