Trouble starting up site.

I have installed SMFRC5.
In step one (0%) when I try to put my FTP details, it states that my FTP pass is incorrect?
I changed my FTP pass and reentered it, but it doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone help?

you would be best to contact your host as no one here would know your ftp details, you could also fix the permissions requested on that page and not need to enter your ftp information.

If you know how to do it, you can get that information from your CPanel, too.

Come to that, if you go to CPanel>Files>FTP Accounts, you can set up a new one, if you need to.
