Going from 1.13 to 2.0RC5

I was just wanting to know does any one have any luck going from 1.13 to 2.0 RC5 with
out loosing any of the boards or member set up, ETC.

I know i would need a back up first. Is this there a guide to a safe cross over or any
words of wisdom they would like to share.

Any help on this would be great

Hi, yes, there are multiple examples of people happily going from 1.1.x to RC5 without loosing any data,  over the upgrade process you will not lose any data, that includes, members, messages, private messages, boards, data from mods, etc,   you will only lose your theme and any mods you have installed, this is solely because of the huge changes between 1.1.x and 2.0.

and yes, a backup is a most, safety first
