My problem.

Well, when I upload the files to the FTP eshost.es [nofollow] in the htdocs folder, when I seek not my site I get the SMF installer, I need help with that.

can you please explain a bit more about what your exact issue is? it is not that clear as to what the problem is.

Well, when I climb the Installer http://file-managers.net/index.php [nofollow] in the htdocs folder, upload the entire zip folder. Then, when I give my domain, I get no SMF Installer, I get a welcome from the web.

is that the url to where you installed smf? was there an index.php page on your server already? did you override that with the one that is included in smf?

Ouch, eh, Mi primer problema es que yo cuando trato de subir el ZIP, siempre me dice que la carpeta es demaciada grande, Entonces, ¿Como voy a reemplazar el Index.html si no se quiere subir la carpeta Zip?

who is your host? it sounds like they have a space limit that may keep you from being able to install smf. you should extract the folder and upload the files from in it to your host.

If you want to upload the ZIP file, then you should probably use the file manager form your host's cpanel and then run the extract from there. Alternatively, as Illori has said, you can extract the archive on your local computer and upload the extracted files and directories via FTP.

(one note: We don't always open every thread - it is important that when you start a support thread, you should use a descriptive title... "my problem" is non-descriptive and could relate to anything. Using a title like "Having problems uploading the install archive file" would have been a better choice.)
