New to SMF - Help with Navigation Menus

Hi,

Im sorry if this is a really daft question. I have just set up this software to build a forum, however I want to be able to get the left hand side navigation menu boxes to appear on my site. Like on this site

On the left there are boxes for navigation and search etc. Is this part of the core program? a Modification I have to install or somthing that I have to code in. I've gone through the settings in the core program and can't find anthing. Please help if you can.

No, that was custom written for this site.

You might try one of the portal modifications though, which can present a sidebar of information.

thanks for the reply. It seems strange that it was a custom thing for this site only, most of the templates i have looked at show a sidebar with some information in or another.
