smilies and other post tools dissapeared

Hi, Im running RC5, and somehow managed to make the smilies and all the other buttons above the post box to disappear. Where do I find that code so that I can re-enter it back into my theme?

Are they there in the smf default theme - or are you using a custom theme ? plus .... what did you install or do  ( package wise ) ? or did it just all the sudden just start ? Need more info from ya , sorry.

admin -> current theme is Show BBC Buttons on Posting and PM Send Pages:  checked?

i had this in rc4
i had a shout box installed if you have one insatalled diable it on the post area
