Please help! Some people get time out errors, others don't...

We just upgraded to SMF2.0 RC5 last night.  Everything looked great, and apparently for some members everything is fine, but others are getting a "session time out" error when they try to post anything.  They can log in and read just fine, but as soon as they try to post, they can't.  PM's are also affected.

This is affecting members in the Midwest and Caribbean so far, but other members in the same areas are still able to post.  I'm not sure if that matters though.  It also doesn't seem to matter what browser people are using.  Some are using IE on PC's, one is for sure using Safari on a Mac.

empty the forumcache and maybe change the coockie name

Tried emptying what I thought was the forum cache (did you mean file cache?), and it didn't help.

I'm not sure how to change the cookie name.  I'm not the Webmaster though, just Admin.

Thanks!    Webmaster came home from work and fixed it.  I think all is well now.
