Unable to load the 'html_above' template.

I have tried adding "index.php?theme=1" to the end, and even going into the database to my member name and putting the theme to default. Even did a reinstall from a backup before the site went down.

Nothing worked. I am at my wits end here as we recently had a member pass away and all his writings and work are on that set of forums.

Any suggestions/help would be very appreciated.

welcome to smf, please try running What is repair_settings.php? and ONLY use the option to reset your theme to default, do not change anything else on this page.
