After an haking attack, in my ftp syadmin now set up the main root dir with 755, if i set the main root dir to 777 i have the error "The server has encounter a misconfiguration" ecc...

i've tried to install a modification (Share this topic) but when installing the permissions of the main root dir are set to 777 and the script crash.

Now my questions is: how to solve? :)
Loop code example:
The following statement is FALSE
The previous statement is TRUE.

The permissions don't need to be 777. The permissions need to be so that they are in reality writable for PHP.
The actual permissions that would mean, depends on the server config.

You can try and make everything 755 manually, before installing a package - and if that's enough, it should not change any permissions.
