Multiple collations in database + character sets errors

Following an upgrade from RC4 to RC5 (plus mods added) I've since noticed that the database has two types of collation in place:

utf8_general_ci    and      latin1_swedish_ci

I've also got some error messages along the lines of :

8: Undefined index: character_set
File: /var/www/vhosts/mywebsite.com/httpdocs/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 1250


Any ideas on the best way to proceed ?

Have you tried repair_settings.php yet? What is repair_settings.php?
