Install theme and there are no toolbar for home, log out, etc

Hi, I am new SMF user and I have tried to install themes which I have found on this website. Theme it self install correctly, but there are no tool bar for users and admin. I have tried different themes so what I can not see here? For example there are no any button for admin to go admin tools. Only my community links which linked to forum.

The themes you're installing. They ARE for the version of SMF that you're using, aren't they?

That was my assumption as the theme they have installed is crips NueBlue and its 2.0RC5 only

That's very likely the problem, then, innit?

Although, I'm a bit surprised that the installation doesn't check the versions, before they attempt to install, like mods do, to be honest.

I dont think the theme installer checks for versions like the mod installer does... maybe a feature we can ask for in future versions.

You would think so but a 1.1.13 will install on a 2.0RC5 site, I've tested it before and it's only when you select the theme to be used you see a problem, so based on that I would assume it works the other way round with 2.0RC5 themes installing on 1.1.13 but obviously the menu systems are completely different and that would cause a problem like no menu displaying.

Oh, how stupid I am Yes, wrong version. I have installed 1.1.13 and tried to install 2.0RC5's themes... I tried to install 4 different themes and all were for than other version Sorry about unrelevant topic.

No problem, we all make mistakes, especially when you first start out, just click the "SMF 1.1.13" option on the themes page and that will list just the themes for your version.
