howto update from 1.1.12 to 1.1.13

How can I update/upgrade from 1.1.12 tot 1.1.13 not with ftp, but just another way?

In the Admin Panel, you will find a link, that indicates that there is an update available. Click it.

SMF will download a little package, you know, like a mod.
Install that.

Done!

But I did download several pakages. It gave me an error:
The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.

What to do next?

Manual upgrade

Upload files from the SMALL update package and update with that.

Welcome to SMF tovar.

Were you able to complete the update to 1.1.13?  Sometimes when the link in the control panel doesn't work as expected, you can download the update package from http://custom.simplemachines.org/upgrades/ and apply it just like a modification.  Additionally you can display the edits required for each file and manually edit the affected files.
