Some help understanding php file search....

OK so somehow when designing my forum I had no problem changing the logo to another URL instead of changing the file name.

Now I want to change the logo again and can't fine the the PHP file it exists in.

Tried...

Index.php
template.index.php

No where can I see where I changed the link.   geez.

On on another topic but similar.  This seems to be a consistent struggle.  I can't seem to find the PHP file the code exists in.  I use firebug but it either doesn't say what file the code is in or I am dense.

When I view source it tells me that its index.php

How do you guys track down where the code it because there are hundreds of php files.   The css is so easy using firebug but the code....

If it's not in style css, then it must be in index.template.php - look for template_main_above(), that's where the header is in 1.1.1x.

Attach your index.template.php - I'll have a look.

Could the logo have been set up in the admin when I created the forum?

Look in Admin -> Current Theme -> Themes and Settings -> Theme Options and Preferences -> Logo image url
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.
