[Paid $5 - SMF 2.0] Sticky a topic for x days...

I looked and didn't see any existing mods but I was wondering if someone might have an interest in making a mod thats lets a user sticky a post for a certian amount of days.

Since you can't really go by the post date, like say you wana sticky a post for 7 days that was made a week ago and say unstick 7 days from today then it would already be released because the 7 days has poassed since the post date.

Here's the idea I have...

Make a small popup calendar thats lets a user select the month and day when the topic should be released. Kind of like what some CC companies use when you set up a billing date. Would need some sort of option to sticky forever should you not want it to release after x days.

Edit: I was also thinking an admin panel of some sort would be nice that shows all current stickied posts on the rntire site and their release / expire dates if one was set up. So it would not only show posts with release dates but those which are forever stickies.

Maybe work in some sort or tree so you know what board it's on.

So like every sticky post might look like this if it's based on boards...

PS3 >> General
- Post 1
- Post 2
- Post 3

xBox >> General >> Main
- Post 1

etc, etc, etc.

Ps; As far as the date format would go for the admin panel, I'd like to see it as mm/dd/yyyy

Done deal, I'm assuming this will include the admin bit where it will show all sticky topics on the site regardless of wether or not they have an expiration date set to unsticky with the labeling as described before and again below ?

Edit: If its not to much trouble and you don't mind I would like to add one other small option to the admin page. I would like a "tick" option to mass unsticky posts on the site but on a per post type thing so say you want to drop 5 of 10 posts you can.
