Problem with IE in loading forum pages ie; posts/board is slow

When a user opens the forum in IE, the top part of the page loads fast, then to display menu buttons, it takes 2 seconds. Then to display boards/posts, its taking long about 5 to 10 seconds.

Please help me how to increase performance of the site forum. polaris.ws [nofollow]

Just visited the site using IE and it loaded as fast as it does in FireFox.

If you go to Admin > Features and Options > Layout and Options

Check the box Display time taken to create every page this will show the time taken to load each page. Get the user to report back to you what this says when they have problems. If that time is small then the server is working correctly and the problem is most likely with the user's browser settings or their network connection.

Usually any browser alone can not explain such huge differences in loading times - and so I would suggest the problem might lie elsewehere, like local networks, scripts you use etc...
