Packages problem

Some of the files the package manager needs to modify are not writable. This needs to be changed by logging into FTP and using it to chmod or create the files and folders. Your FTP information may be temporarily cached for proper operation of the package manager.

Tried Admin>Packages>Options and setting the file permissions to "Standard"?

Tried creating a directory, inside your "Packages" one, named "temp"? (That has to be read/write-enabled).

It will say that, as standard.

Unfortunately, until you click "Change file permissions", it might not be that way.

Click that and wait a few minutes, for the permissions to be set (It can take a while).

Then, try again.

can you ask your host to check your file permissions and ownership? there could be a problem that is keeping you from being able to do these tasks.

well i did nothing actual,i needed that so i can renistall my packages when i will add my new custom theme,so all packages will work.but i edit them from php files
