How to replace the TEXT logo

I have been rseraching for the last three hours and going crazy now.  I have figured out how to replace the SMF logo at the top right hand corner. But, how do I change the text link at the top left corner (which has the site name as a hyperlink) to a graphic image?

I am using the default theme (Curve) on version 2.0RC5.

I am specifically referring to the "forum_name" that is inserted in the "forumtitle" div in the "top_section".  I have uploaded the image I wantto show up there, but cannot fathom what code (or Admin setting) I need to change. 

Would be very appreciative of any help.

It's a bit of a hack job, but it should work. Admin > Configuration > Server Settings >
In the Forum Title field, you can put the HTML code for your image, something like this:

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<img src="PATH" alt="logo" />Replacing the src dealio with the path to your image.

Thank you.  What you suggested works.

However, now, the entire line of code shows up right under the menu (just above the "General Category" header of the Forum.  I don't mind if that is commented out.  But, how do I do that?

i find it easier to go to admin  Themes and Layout/theme settings then Theme Options and Preferences/Logo image URL just add the path there I.E images/picname.png or whatever  no need for the html tags

Yeah, that's why it's a hack job and likely should never be used again! I apologize for even thinking it might work. That field is really meant for text only I guess. It sounds like you want two images. That would be a matter of editing the index.template.php of the theme you are using.

Ozzie:  I so appreciate your patient help.  But, somehow, I am getting totally lost at the last step.  Are we looking at different versions of SMF?  Or, am I brain-farting around after slogging around for four hours?

I am attaching a screen shot.  Perhaps, that will have a clue as to why I can't find what I am looking for.

None of the following exist: 

Admin > Current theme settings

Admin > Current theme

Admin > Themes and Layouts > Current themes

PLEASE, could you give me navigation path with the > sign separating the mouse clicks.  Once again, thanks.

under configeration find   current theme click that

and logo image url box will be just down from the top enter the path in there and save

hey mash its a lot easier ..only draw back is if u got loadsa themes you gotta do it on all themes but it not a big problem.. well not for me as i save the logo image in root so all i gotta enter in box is forum/ image.png in all themes
