I have almost 5000 registered users, so when i send out Newsletters that's almost 5000 emails,..

My host allows 400 per hour, other than breaking the list manually, is there some feature in smf that can split newsletters and send them out in a specified queue ??

2.0 has a built in mail queue :) You can even setup time and quantity limits for it.

I'm not sure, but can't really think of anything for 1.1 right now.

because 1.1.1* does not have the scheduled tasks feature, it will be very unlikely a feature like what you want will be possible in 1.1.1* and it is not that easy to code into 1.1.1*.

Export your members database table as a CSV, and feed it to PHPlist, which has mail scheduling (minute, hour, day caps).

Yeah, I have been advised to use phpLIST

Can the Members table be exported as a CSV from inside SMF ?? or will have to use cpanel ?

Most easily done from phpMyAdmin, to export just the smf_members table as a CSV file. I suppose you could use SMF's admin functions to back up your database, but then you'll have to edit the resulting .sql file to remove all but the members table, and massage it into CSV format. Something else that might make a fun little project for someone would be to write a PHP script to dump the members table into a CSV format file. You could add code to include other data that PHPlist could use to select which members to send to, and would be a "one click" operation to update the address list "whenever" (or even on an automated schedule). In fact, I'd be surprised if something this useful didn't already exist.

(Is there any standard capitalization for this product? Even its own site seems to be all over the place!)

cant goo though all that ,... just gonna manually split my email list into smaller amounts and send newsletter in hourly segments..
