Can I start a topic from within my PHP script

I just want to start a new topic from within a PHP script.

I guess it is possible?

Assuming you mean outside of SMF in a PHP script? You could probably include SSI.php and then call some functions from there. I haven't looked into it, but I would assume you could use createPost() and get the job done.
