Hello, as mentioned in previous posts I had my site crashed cus of some mod error, I actually managed to get them uninstalled manually, and forum is now showing at last, but i cant post new messages, reply or start new topic, i then get a error sating

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/1/c/covno/www/Sources/Post.php on line 2765 how do I fix this?

I guess that's the file to possibly start with. Mind posting that file to a reply? What were the mods you had to manually uninstall, too?

the mods i just manually uninstalled was aeva media an badbehaviour (but even if I manually uninstalled them it says in my admin panel that aeva is still active and needs to be uninstalled. hmmm) but at least now i can enter admin panel adn almost everything else

when u say posting the file u mean a copy if that file in the directory right?

if so it is in attachements :)

mashby

Line 2763 was this:
if ($smcFunc['htmltrim'](strip_tags(parse_bbc($_POST['message'], false), '<img>)) === '')

And it's now this (added a ' after the <img> dealio:
if ($smcFunc['htmltrim'](strip_tags(parse_bbc($_POST['message'], false), '<img>')) === '')
See if the attached makes posting work again?

Sweet. Seems funny how a missing ' can stop you from posting, but thankfully that's all it was. And you could just FTP and overwrite that file rather than deleting and then uploading (1 less step needed that way). Glad this is all sorted. :)

Wow, that file abruptly ends! I grabbed a copy I had and added I think what was missing. Give this one a whirl. I gotta go see if I have another beer left. :)

the error belongs to the file I will attach :)

Do you still have bad behavior installed? I still have beer left...so...mind attaching:
Themes/default/languages/Help.english.php

Thanks...I'll get on it. :)

EDIT:
Assuming you no longer have the bad behavior mod installed, this should work. This file also ended abruptly, so I removed the bad behavior start section and added ?> to the end.
