modify clickable links within post

I have posts with urls which were not clickable in my previous forum
how do I make them non clickable here within posts.

I want to make all urls posted within posted within posts to be non clickable

Admin -> Posts and Topics -> Bulletin Board Code -> Automatically link posted URLs

Uncheck it.

Just tried it again - works for me in 1.1.13.  Did you 'Save' the bbc setting after you changed it?  Try it in different browsers?  Clear cache?

I may be wrong but I think that the setting will only apply to URLs posted in the future; any URL that has already been posted will already have been linked.

No, I checked that.  All previously posted links are killed.

user used url bbc code...

and now I deactivated it too...
