rss link not there in my forum

I just noticed that there is no rss link? or sitemap by default in  my forum

i downloaded sitemap mod to upload it on google webmaster tool so uploaded xml sitemap link that mod gave

but i dont find rss link also..

i dont know but i tried this and it worked for few forums i just changed number at the end?

is there any rss link on smf so that we can get rss link for each forum easily?

i want to use it with twitter feed.

admin -> news and newsletters -> settings check enable xml/rss news and save the page.

chief it is enabled
with max length set to 255

but on my forum i cant find any link ?

check your browser bar, most browsers have the rss icon in the bar when there is a feed on the site.

I am using firefox 4.01 but there is no rss  on my browser bar. (not even for wordpress- so it means my browser does not show)

does the feed work if you manually enter it in the browser bar? yoururlhere.com/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss

yes it works that way unfortunately If i wan tit for any particular topic I can't handle it

and I dont know board numbers .... since I am using  pretty urls, and referral system mod

lost all my rankings.... and traffic....

A board number should show if you place your mouse pointer over any given board then look in the bottom left of your browser just above the Start tab. Same for a topic or posting.

Mind you, I haven't tried this with Firefox.
