Since morning I am getting this Action in the who'is list
What is the reason?

Illori

it means exactly as it says, most likely a bot is looking at your site, trying to find working links and most likely found links that dont exist. it is nothing to worry about.

More specifically, if, say, you have a shoutbox and the member's using that, it's not one of SMF's standard defined functions.

So, when you look to see what that member's doing, SMF doesn't, really, know.

So, it throws that up as a standard message to tell you that.

no, most likely they know you are running smf and therefore are trying links that have worked on other smf forums or other forums in general trying to find valid pages.

did you mean they see dead links?

You can's see a dead link, but if you click a dead link you should get on the forum, but don't get to see the actual content, as it doesn't exist anymore. Just try it and see what you get. That should give you more information than asking ;)

The important thing, with this, is that IT'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! :)

This is something very interesting that has been worrying/puzzling me for many years since i have been using SMF... Is it possible to refine the number of definitions so as to add more versatility to SMF's standard defined functions? As admin, i like to keep an eye on who's doing what on my forum, but i also see a lot of these "Nothing, or nothing you can see..." messages, which intrigues me greatly. Is there a manual way to refine/add more definitions or maybe a modification (which would be ideal)?

Also, just moving back for a bigger picture. Are there any improvements that have been made to SMF's standard defined functions in 2.0? Do we have more definitions that would give us more accurate information on what members/guests are doing on our forums. I think from an admin or moderators point of view, it's important to know as much as possible on what's happening in real-time on the forum, so as to better help/assist the members or figure out any issues that confused members might be having, fish out any spammers or hacking attempts before it happens, etc. This is not spying, although it might be seen as such, but it's very helpful is used correctly. Plus, that function already exists, so it's just a matter of improving it.

You know that mods which create their own action and don't bother to fix the language string don't make this message, right? Those cases simply push out "Unknown action".

Nothing or nothing you can see is for when they're trying to access topics or boards that do not exist any longer and thus cannot be viewed, e.g. deleted topics.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

A great thanks to all of you.
But now its another day and the problem is still.
I am not worry about this action but how can this action occur again and again.
And one important thing:
If one person see that action, SMF count him as a visit but google analytics not counting.
sorry for poor english

It could be bots, randomly clicking stuff, I'd guess.

Have seen the 'Nothing' appear regularly for years, never had any problem related to it.
Maybe should be 'Nothing, thus nothing to worry about...'  :D
