Old Version System Requirements

Not production sites, of course, but I have been trying to get installations of every past public release onto my test server.

The server is EasyPHP 5.3.5.0.  It is a compilation of:
-Apache 2.2.17
-MySQL 5.1.54
-PHP 5.3.5
-PhpMyAdmin 3.3.9

Most old version work fine, but on older ones I can either:
1) Not view board index, get an error in BoardIndex, or
2) Not view forums/topics, get an error in a different file

Versions I can NOT run are:
1.1 RC1
1.1 Beta 3
1.0.6 (? - maybe, haven't tried this one, but 1.0.7 did work, but forgot to DL this one)
1.0.5
1.0.4
1.0.3
1.0.2
1.0.1
1.0
1.0 RC2
1.0 RC1
1.0 Beta 5
1.0 Beta 4.1
1.0 Beta 4
(And YaBB SE)

So my question now is... what were the system requirements for these versions?  What was the earliest and latest compatible versions of MySQL and PHP for these versions?  (Or just if you know one version that can run them that I could get).  I should be able to get separate PHP and MySQL versions installed for different users on my computer, so I could make a separate user that has the proper versions installed without interfering with my main user.

Thanks in advance to whoever may help me.

Oh, and I have no forum link, because it is not online, just available from my own computer.

Older versions have issues Mysql Joins if you have mutiple tables either in a join or a left join you need to add () around the join.
IE

table1,table2
Changes to
(table1,table2)

What files would I edit to change it to a (table1,table2) format?

The install file?

K, thanks. XD

And I found a patch that worked for SMF 1.1 RC1, so hopefully it will work for all of them and make it even easier on me. :D

I think the SQL precedence problem that vbgamer45 mentioned has been fixed for a long time, but still might be a problem on very old versions of SMF (giving 1054 errors, IIRC). More likely, you will run into problems with SMF doing things that PHP 5 (especially 5.3) doesn't like, and will require repairs. I don't know if they're in standard SMF or part of a mod, but things like echo ; won't work, ereg and other obsolete deprecated functions might have been used, and there is probably use of $HTTP_*_VARS arrays in very old versions.

Do you absolutely have to have them run on current PHP and MySQL levels, or can you drop back to older levels for older SMFs?
