I`m having problems installing smf...help plsssssss

I just bought a new domain (www.completesoccerforum.com) and wish to install SMF on it. But everytime i try installing it from my CPanel via Fantastico it brings this error message
"The installation can not be completed:

- You chose to install in the main directory of the domain completesoccerforum.com [nofollow], but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain completesoccerforum.com [nofollow] (path="/home/complete/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
index.php


Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors."
What do i do?  Help plzzzzz

Connect to that folder via FTP. Save a copy of the existing index.php file to your local computer and then delete it from the server and try again.

Even better, ignore Fantastico.

The versions they use are often out of date.

Have a look at this and see if it looks like fun.

I tried it and it keeps giving me error messages. Know anyone who could help get this done?

can you take a screenshot of all files that are on your ftp and post it here so we can maybe get an idea of what can be done to fix this?
