Fix URL

I changed my url like an idiot and now it's all messed up no matter what I do.  How can I reset it to the original url (I do not remember it)?

i am somewhat unsure where you changed the url but this should help What is repair_settings.php?

I changed my url in my server settings, now when i go to anything it goes to an error page.  i just want to reset my url or type in the original url.

how can i find the original url?

if you use the php script in the link provided you can reset the url.

i wish i could download it, i cannot even login now because the url is messed up now.  what should i do, delete and restart my entire forum?

so you upload that script to your server and it does not work? you can try editing carefully your settings.php file where it says $boardurl =, be sure to back it up first in case something happens.

f that, i am just going to uninstall my forum and maybe start over.  thanks for the help though.  appreciate the effort but if it's this complicated just to change a url then it's easier to start over.

Interesting though...the URL you gave works for me.

yeah it works at first but when you go to another location it brings you to the error message.   no matter what you click on, you get this:

well did you try what i suggested above? it should fix it, or if you are logged in already you can try the file i suggested above.

http://forum.spartan1project.com/forum/index.php?action=login should let you login as well.

i really appreciate your help but i already uninstalled it on my domain via godaddy and when i can i will reinstall and NEVER play with that setting again.
