Where to customize new header?

I can't find how to get rid of "My Community" and put my own forum name up there, or how to put an image up there (and what size it can be). This is strange because I did this before when new to smf but now can't find it. Thanks in advance!

Admin>Server settings>Forum name.

For a logo, Admin>Current theme>Logo image URL:.

You change the text by going to

admin > server settings > general

Forum Title

to replace it with an image go to

admin > current theme

Logo image URL:
(leave blank to show forum name or default logo.)

You need to have an image hosted on a site like photobucket or imageshack and place the URL in the box

it is not really recommended to use a free image hosting site to host a logo, if you get anywhere close to limits on viewing that image it will no longer load or worst case it can get removed from that free site and you can loose your image. if you have hosting space already why not host your own logo on your site, you can make sure it does not get lost this way as well.

Thanks all. I have my image up there, it's all huddles over on the left at 250 px wide. Then there's a huge expanse of empty space, and all the way over on the right it has the smf logo. This is after I changed the forum name. Does the smf logo always stay? I don't mind it, but wanted to put my own sized text in that big space. Do I have to create an image with text already in it and sized to fit the whole space?

Hmmm... tricky...

Most logos/banners are wider than they are tall.

I'm wondering if we couldn't fiddle with this image and come-up with something...

I've got lots of images of different shapes, I'll play around with that. But now OMG! It's blocking me from logging in as admin! I'm using the correct password, I wrote it down, but it just sits there and the login window remains. The rest won't matter if I can't fix this!
