hey guys hows it going? I'm using SMF 1.1.13 and wanted to ask what can I do so that forum users will have an option to attach an image in the message and the image will be displayed right within the message ( not underneath the message like it is set right now)

This probably can not do without the module. You'd have to write in a poly insert tables and two boxes for text and picture

this module host your image somewhere else so I would be looking for something which hosts on our server..


but i didnt figure out how do you get that small image ?

Does the [img] tag not work for you? The only drawback is that it doesn't provide a mechanism for uploading the file to your site -- the image file must either be on an external site (such as a photo sharing site) or already uploaded and accessible on your site. If you require both upload (like an attachment) and inline display, that would require a mod.
