Need help with email config.

Arvo all,

I know that there are so many subjects on this already but one can only look for so long..lol

I moved the forums from a home server to Ipower. And can't quite get all the setting right.  I have all the details on the Ipower end and have put them into the SMF Server settings but just can't seem to get anything to work.  I have checked the error log and no issues on it since I started it.  The settings that I have inserted are below, am I missing any ?

Webmaster email is [email protected] (Which is what I created from Ipower)
Mail Type is SMTP
SMTP Server is smtp.thedallascowboysgang.com (Outgoing Mail Server from Ipower)
SMTP port is 587 (Provided by Ipower)

Any help would be appreciated.

Just a guess, but I believe SMTP server should be smtp.ipower.com.  The port is correct, mail type is correct, and if the email address is valid (did you try it?), it should work.

Thanx for the response, but just not going to happen.  Looking at the error log, it appears to be some kind of connection error.  I think I will drop ipower support a quick email, their support has been outstanding so far.
