Using SMF as a Roleplay Feature. A question.

I am using SMF as a kind of Database System for my roleplayers. (A bit hard to explain.)
The problem is that most of them complain about the copyright notice which is breaking the RP, as it does not really fit.

Can i change it from "Powered by SMF 1.1.13 | SMF © 2006-2011, Simple Machines LLC " to "© - SMF LCC" or at least making the whole text uppercase?

I am asking you here because i would like to know. I will not do it if denied.

Thanks.

no you can not change the copyright other then removing the version number from the copyright. if you do anything else smf can request your forum to be shutdown.

You can actually make it upper case in the CSS, which would not contravene the licence terms AFAIK. (text-transform: uppercase; is the CSS rule)

Exactly how this would be achieved will depend on your theme though.
