try this one:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=189

it says 1.1.9 but most mods for 1.1.x can be installed on 1.1.13

use this zip:  Related_Topics_1.3.3.zip
Oh, wouldn't it be great if I *was* crazy? ...then the world would be okay

I try to parse the MOD with my version 1.1.13 but i got an error message that the MOD is not compatible, please is there any one compatible with 1.1.13?

replace this:  1.1.9  with 1.1.13  on install and uninstall tags <install for>   <uninstall for>

save.   zip all the files again, install the mod.

Yes, the Mod was installed via package manager and i can see it among installed mod but there is no link to it anywhere under Features and option or any where in the admin area yet listed among installed mod.

are you using a theme other then default? your theme may require some custom edits to make it work with that mod. you are best to ask in the support thread for the mod for further help.

did you installed it via the  Package Manager ?
I encounter the error message below after using Note++ to edit and do as you instruct which cant allow me to post, please help.

Table 'naijavoi_smf1.smf_related_subjects' doesn't exist
File: /home/naijavoi/public_html/Sources/Subs-RelatedFulltext.php
Line: 72

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.11, while your database is at version 1.1.9. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

it appear that the mod wasn't installed properly,  make sure you install it correctly via the Package Manager

I do installed it they right way under package manager, here is how it goes, i explore the Related_post_1.1.3 mod and i make use of Notepad++ to open the package-info and replace this:  1.1.9  with 1.1.13  on install and uninstall tags <install for>   <uninstall for>

save the file and installed with the package manager or please can you help to replace this:  1.1.9  with 1.1.13  on install and uninstall tags <install for>   <uninstall for> and attached back the file to this post if there is any other way other than the way i did.

looks like the tables did no get installed.

download the mod, unzip it   go to the SMF-1.1  folder,  grab the related_topics.php file,    upload that file to the folder where your forum is and call that file with your browser:   mysite.com/forum/related_topics.php      that should install the necessary tables on your Db.

But i have already deleted the Related_topic_ mod from the package manager, should i re-install it before i now do what you said here?

delete and uninstall are two separate things, if you remove the zip from the Packages folder it will not unistall the mod.

I first of all uninstall the mod and i now delete it from package manager. See exactly what i need on this site www.nairaland.com when u click on a topic u will see at the buttom of the post link to other post displaying the topic but not indicating related post, is it a special customization?
