Updating from 1.14 to 2.0

Hi Guys,
to my mind I did everything described in the update process correctly.
Neither I can access the forum itself nor the administration-interface.

My first thought was, that it was automatically put into maintenance-mode. Even if that is the problem: how can I re-activate the forum, as long as I cannot use the administration-interface?
Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Hello there, and welcome to smf community.

Can you tell us what exactly did you do?
You should download 2.0 large upgrade pack and upload it to your forum root, and then run upgrade.php and follow steps from upgrade process.
Have you done that? Any errors while upgrading?

thank you for your fast answer.
I did exactly what you wrote:
1.) Download 2.0 Upgrade Pack
2.) Upload to Forum root
3.) Run Upgrade.php

The complete upgrade process after running upgrade.php did not mention any error. I remember one of last lines after the update-process saying kind of
"Well, that wasn't that hard, eh?" 
And I thought: indeed.

You can, by changing line 27 in settings.php file that looks like this:

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

$maintenance = 1;
to this:

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

$maintenance = 0;

Go ahaid and try with that to see if that will fix problem.

Wahoooooooo, it fixed the problem.

$maintenance was set to "2", why- or however. Thanks for this information. I did not know where to change this.

I can both access the forum directly and use the new administration backend.
