Issue with database

Sorry for my English: I'm Italian but I'm writing here because in Italy now it's 1:45 am and I have an issue with SMF.
I installed new 2.0 release from 1.1.15 version.
When I open the upgrade.php page, it appeared this text:

Your MySQL version does not meet the minimum requirements of SMF.

Please ask your host to upgrade.

How can I resolve it?

Can I downgrade to 1.1.15 version, considering that I've not configured the forum with 2.0 version yet?

I belive so since you haven't completed the install just redownload the large upgrade for SMF 1.1.4
