weblink doesn't work?

On my forum links used to work but now links seem to open weblink://www etc and don't actually open, firefox says protocol isn't asociated with any program.

Did I mess something up?

Also, how can I 'not allow' external links on the forum like this one does?

You may need to try running repair_settings to see if that helps out.
What is repair_settings.php?

Depending on the version of SMF you are running, one of these mods might do the no follow deal.

tried repair but no luck

also tried NoFollow All Links v1.0 (i have smf 1.1.4) editing Subs.php as copy-pasted below but that instantly made my forum show only blank pages so I put back a backup Subs.php

Find: [Select]

Replace With: [Select]

I highly recommend getting up from 1.1.4 to 1.1.14. Quite a few changes/security things have been addressed over the years. What is the URL to your site, too, if you don't mind supplying that?

it's my name followed by dot net folowed by slash forum. I actually just upgraded sfm using in easyapp section on my server panel. Thought that would automatically updgrade to later/latest version but apparently doesn't

Well, your site loads well enough for me, but I am a guest (not sure that would matter considering the details you provided). In your Administration Center (the main admin page), do you see a notification to update your site?

Site works, but links don't (for me), see for example topic=244 where in the posting there is a link to another posting. For me it doesn't work, does it for you?

I see what you are talking about. Can you click the Modify link for that post and paste the code from it in a reply here?

every time I edit it and remove the weblink or replace with http, when I save it it's back with weblink

I also upgraded my forum and placed the notcaptcha mod, hope that helps a bit since spam growth these days is becoming iritating
