Installed SMF 1.1.14 and now attachments wont work?

Hi,

Yesterday i installed the upgrade package to 1.1.14 on a SMF forum i help admin. It all seemed to work fine until i was informed today that attachments to posts no longer work.

When posting a reply, the option to include an attachment is still there, you can select your attachment and the post will work fine, however the attachment thumbnail does not display and its size is listed as 0KB. When you then go to access the attachment it obviously does not open.

I am very new to SMF forums, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

how did you install the upgrade package?    upgraded from what version?

Is you attachments directory writeable?
