Is it necessary to upload the .wav files (a to z) into the forum directly or can the forum work without it

My hosting server will not allow me to upload wav or any other music filetypes as they are blocked for some reason

I believe that the wav files are for people who can't read CAPTCHA, so they can hear the letters, instead.

So, the forum WILL work, I believe. But, that feature won't.
