its stuck on the same members name, even though there have been several registers afterwards.

i must say, as soon as i posted this, someone registered and it updated.

i believe its a membergroup issue.

so now on to an off topic question:

i would like to start over with membergroups.

i have like 8 or nine total.

and want it to just be admin, mod, forum mod, registered users, and guests.

can i make a mass merge from group to group?

The latest member should always so the latest registration that has not been deleted or banned if I remember correctly - it should have nothing to do with membergroups at all.

You can not simply merge membergroups, but - If you have admin, mod and forum mod and make sure everyone that should be in these groups, is already in these groups, you should be able to just delete all other membergroups leaving people in them to drop to "regular members" automatically.

ill give that a go..

i was worried if i did that, it would delete the contents within the group..

Well, it shouldn't delete anything else than the group and the group settings IMO...
