Upgraded from 1.1.14 to 2.0 but...

Well I upgraded from 1.1.14 to 2.0 Gold last night and very nice it looks too.

However I would like to make something clear, as it wasn't completely clear in the Upgrade blah blah.  If you upgrade using the large upgrade then yes, your Mods will be lost.  However I wrongly assumed that Mods for common place useful features such as anti-spam,  social media Likes/Shares etc. would still work if re-installed, however I found this not to be the case.  Also the layout is slightly different requiring possible resizing of any forum header picture you may be using.  Having tried to all these things and ended up finding in less than half an hour I was already getting spammers posting and had no social media integration (apart from Facebook Connect which seems to install and work correctly but don't take my word for it) I decided to revert to 1.1.14 for the foreseeable future.

I have to say 2.0 looks great from what I saw briefly, however without working social network mods or anti-spam that I can be confident of, it's not something I can invest time in at the moment.

there are built in verification questions which some people think works better then any of the anti-spam mods available.

You also may want to check the respective mods for updated versions of the packages, updated to 2.0 that is, in case there were, and/or ask in their support threads about the problems you may have with them not working as expected.
