When members are posting code if its large code, it gets cut/truncated?

I've checked the DB to see if it has any thing do with the data type but according to my tests its got nothing to do with that.

I've also tried adjusting the Post Settings in the ACP and setting the post size (Maximum allowed post size) to 0 chars (which is unlimited) - but has no effect.

So its somewhere within the SMF core files but not sure where?

Welcome to SMF. :)

To help get this solved quicker exactly which version of 1.1.x are you using?

What mods do you have installed?

Is there anything in your error log?

Thanks.

I'm using the latest version (14).

Nothing in my error log, I don't think the mods are causing this - I've got a strong feeling its a bug as I've had this even when 0 mods were installed - and I've seen a few other support topics regarding this issue around the internet...

There are several bugs in the post reply editor, some of which have been fixed in 2.0.  Two of them appear to affect IE8 only.  Users can get around them by enabling Compatibility View in IE, and disabling WYSIWYG editor in Profile.

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.
