Package directory

I have just installed SMF forum , everything is working very good, i can install packages and all, but when i do backup(from other host) i cant install packages, made temp folder but nothing, can someone tell me how to fix that.

It's possible one host or the other has set your files Minimum Writeable. Recommend ask your host for advice on this.
