MOD on MAC help NEEDED

I am trying to upload the latest spam package v2_5_1 found here http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2155 from my mac to my forum BUT it is not working, need help w/this SOON since am trying to add project honey pot also. The mac won't upload the file in it's entirety nor will it upload individually either. Please help me w/this. Thank you.

you need to make sure your mac does not unzip the file you downloaded it needs to be in zip form to upload to your server with the package manager.

how do i prevent it from unzipping b/c i think that's what it's doing.
