'Banned' Messages since Upgrade

We've just upgraded from 1.1.13 to 1.1.14 and since then users are complaining they're denied access and getting a 'Banned' message when they try to log into the forum from a mobile phone.

I can't believe its a coincidence 

Any thoughts please?

Have you looked at the ban log to see if any logs show the ban message for them?

This didn't happen' for me, at-least.. did you have any errors while upgrading?

Apparently it fixes itself if cache/cookies are cleared but then does the same at next login.

No error messages during the upgrade.

So have you compared their info to see if any bans you currently have would affect them? Their IP, email, hostname etc. could be getting banned if another ban trigger has something that catches it.

Alright, if you have forum firewall mod on, disable it.
now put your forum on maintenance.
go to the ban list, and remove every banned user,
re-enable the forum.. see what happens..
if everything worked, then it's your forum firewall mod doing something (if installed)
if solved and you don't have the mod, then you have successfully deleted a ban for an ip-range that effected your users.
if not solved, then i am kind-of out of ideas :s
