Thanks, I had remembered to update it when I started working on a Forum Software Demos website.

Does anybody know what versions of 2.0 were the first to have PostgreSQL and SQLite?

It's certainly in 2.0 RC1, though it's buggy (apparently unusably so in some cases), don't know about before that though.

I'll go look at the change logs then.

EDIT: Ok, PostgreSQL was added in beta 1, I think SQLite was later though.
EDIT: Never mind, they were both there the whole time.

Updating this to include the new version of YaBB in the YaBB section, 2.5 AE.

I'm still looking for more info to turn this into a more definite article.

actually, it might be interesting to see the release chart overlap where the releases do...  (in other words, 1.0.19 was released at the same time as 1.1.11 (and, despite the delay, 2.0RC3 in order to address the same security issue)

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I could add release dates if you want.  I also have to add E-Blah as it was also forked from YaBB.  But E-Blah's pretty bad :).

Very nice.
I started using TripodYaBB on tripod. I remember that tripod had some restrictions in depth of subdirectories and tripodyabb was a modification to actually use only up to 2 or 3 levels of subdirectories. Dont know if that qualifies as a fork or a subversion but my old forum remains locked on tripod and still gets a couple of visits every month.

at the bottom of that page it is written:

Powered by YaBB 1 Gold - SP 1.3+!
TripodYaBB Version: !
YaBB © 2000-2002, XMInc. All Rights Reserved..  :)

I'm going to rewrite this as a longer article with more information and update it soon.

This was an interesting article indeed, even though it's more a list than anything else, it's still interesting to see the development history laid out like that :)
