Hello,
A friend just purchased an SMF 1.1.9  powered forum. The person who she bought it from owned two forums. He seems unable to separate the files. If the 2nd forum goes down so does the one she bought even though it is housed in her account with a separate domain name. It works fine other than that.
When he tries to send the files from her forum to her it crashes both of them.
I have 3 forums but am not  enough of a techie to help her much. Fortunately mine have always worked well and with out problem. Bravo SMF.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Again not to deep if you can help it.

The two forums are duplicated and working on the same databases.

or they are using the same files.

it depends on how exactly they are connected, which we do not know without access to view the files and database.

I will relay the information to my friend and see what she wants to do.
