2.0 smiley sets mess

Hi there.

I've just started using SMF 2.0 for my forum (I'm Admin, I've only used SMF as a user before) and I wanted to try out some smiley sets. Of course I didn't pay attention and tried two sets that didn't have 2.0 in the compatibility list , which I'm guessing caused the problem.
They didn't load in the new topic screen, just the text displays, and I deleted them from the set list (and later from the directory).
However, now the textual displays still show when I click New Topic.

I'm sure the problem is easily solved, I just don't have a clue how!

Does anyone have any ideas on what to try?
