For advertising purposes, I was wondering if SMF 2.0 comes standard with a "unique" member tracking system?
SMF 2.0.1

Like Comics, Books, Movies or T.V. Shows? Read about them here!!

Illori

each and every member ever registered on an smf forum gets a member id number, each id is unique from any other and is numerical order starting from 1.

I mean to track unique visitors every day.

Hmm. Unique visitors isn't really something out of the box. I think you might need something like Google Analytics which will not only tell you unique visitors, it'll give you a ton more trending/statistics that you can review. You can get an account for nothing here:
http://www.google.com/analytics
It will give you code to include on every page of your site. You can implement it several ways. Edit the index.template.php file for each and every theme you have or use Global Headers/Footers and put the code in the Headers area which will affect everything in one fell swoop.

Is that what you're after?
