Should paths in SQL database dumps ever be manually changed?

Hi everyone

When migrating to a new host, I realize that it's always a good idea to run repair_settings, change the file/folder paths for themes, etc but is it ever necessary to manually edit the paths in the SQL database dump(s) or can those safely be left alone?.

Thanks, BJ

If you use the repair_settings.php file it wil repair it automatic so you wont need to edit it in your SQL dump file(s)
