Trying to post html in news addon for Admin

Hi there, I hope this doesn't sound too silly but, I used to have a News Ticker in my News field in Admin ofr the ABC of Australia but since I have upgraded to 1.1.14 it will ONLY allow BBC, can I change this or do I just give up on having a news ticker?

You can still post your html codes between the html tags

i read it as in the admin panel, not as the admin user
