SMF Tab Mod like in MyBB

Hey is there a mod like this one for smf like forum mybb

if there was a mod like that it would require almost totally recoding all the theme code and a themes to go with it. most likely you will not find someone to do it unless you are willing to pay a lot.

each board can show in its own tab and hides the other boards when you change tabs.

Ok. Are you sure it's each board? It looks more like each category in the screenshot, unless it's showing child boards.

i think it may be either, although i am not too familiar with that layout.

Categories are shown in those tabs. When you click on the tab the boards related to that category are loaded (using JS, I think).

I've tried to accomplish it a lot last summer, but failed at very last step, hiding tabbed categories from front page.

I'm extremely interested in this mod as well. vBulletin has developed a similar mod. When you have a large number of categories on your board, you need something to keep them in order.

I was thinking of this as well. How about giving options to admins, i.e let them name a 'category' in mod's admin panel and put multiple categories in it.

I think that's more like sorting categories by subject, not the purpose I was thinking of

Might do that at a later point, it really shouldn't be all that hard.
Mod is submitted, waiting for reviewal.

Though it's at your own risk, everyone leaves bugs and having another pair of eyes glance over it is better than just checking it yourself
