Member is now guest??

I have a problem member on the board and suddenly he's posting as a guest but his username is still there. There is no link attached to the username and he can't be searched for or private messaged. Could this mean he deleted the account because I do not allow unregistered members to post.

He must have deleted his account but only posts he had b4 deletion suppose to be there
